At First Choice (a division of Maithaliz Trading & Maintenance), your complete satisfaction is our priority. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. This policy outlines the conditions and procedures for returns, refunds, and exchanges within Qatar.
1. Standard Returns
We accept returns for most items within 14 days from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a standard return, the following conditions must be met:
The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original, unopened packaging.
All original tags, user manuals, warranty cards, freebies, and accessories must be included.
You must present the original receipt or valid proof of purchase from First Choice.
2. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene, security, and software licensing reasons, certain items cannot be returned once purchased or opened. These include:
Opened software, video games, or digital downloadable products.
Personal care and grooming appliances (if unsealed).
In-ear headphones and earphones (if unsealed).
Consumables such as batteries, ink cartridges, or paper.
Products damaged due to misuse, electrical surges, or unauthorized tampering.
3. Defective or Damaged Items (DOA)
If you receive a product that is physically damaged or Dead on Arrival (DOA), please report it to our customer support team within 48 hours of delivery.
We will arrange for an expedited pickup and inspection of the defective unit.
Upon verification of the manufacturer defect, we will provide a full replacement or a complete refund.
Defects reported after the initial 48-hour window will be handled strictly under the standard manufacturer's warranty terms.
4. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved Refunds: If approved, the refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original method of payment (Credit Card, Debit Card, or Bank Transfer).
Processing Time: Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the credited amount to reflect in your account, depending on your card issuer's policies.
Cash on Delivery (COD): For COD orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer to a local Qatari bank account under the purchaser's name.
5. Shipping Costs for Returns
Return shipping costs are handled as follows:
Defective/Incorrect Items: First Choice will bear all pickup and replacement shipping costs for defective items or fulfilling errors on our part.
Change of Mind: If you are returning an item due to a change of mind, you will be responsible for a nominal return pickup fee, which will be deducted from your total refund amount.
